Bio

My name is Robert Britten and I am twenty-two years old. I have lived in Scarborough Maine my whole life. My father is an oral surgeon and my mother is a practice manager for a medical practice. I have a younger brother named Alex and an older brother named Adam. Last summer I worked as a merchandiser for a beer distribution company. During the 2009,2010,2011 summers I worked as a camp counselor at a sports camp on lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire. I like being outdoors and I love action sports such as paintball, wakeboarding and snowboarding. I graduated from Chevrus high school, a Jesuit catholic high school in Portland Maine. I attended St. Josephs College in Standish Maine my freshman year and then I transferred to Umaine orono my sophomore year.

Creative Statement

I am currently studying new media at the University of Maine Orono. I am in the new media program because I really enjoy graphic design and film. My goal while I am studying new media is to improve my creativity with all my designs and work. My dream job after I graduate would be filming action sports. I have worked with adobe after effects, Photoshop and illustrator and also I have worked a little bit with final cut. Working with a group of people and seeing other people’s creative work and designs motivates me to push my self and to do my best.
